ENGINEERED OAK FLOORING
Our 'Prime Grade' is truly one of the finest engineered floors available. The Eastern European sourced prime oak has a very natural, clean, neutral-coloured, fresh appearance; and great care is taken in the manufacturing process to select a grade of wood without strong or defining features, ultimately giving the floor an almost uniform appearance. Rigorous technical specifications for prime grade mean our maximum allowance is one sound knot of 13mm in diameter per board, or 3 pin hole knots per board. This ensures that almost all of your Prime Grade floor will be defect free.
Our Prime Grade Engineered Oak flooring is available in both unfinished and pre-finished options. As the name implies, unfinished oak allows a more bespoke solution to finish the look of your flooring with a wide range of colours, lacquers and oils available. The pre-finished flooring is ready to use as soon as it is installed. See below for more details.

Dacha prime grade engineered oak flooring is manufactured exclusively at our state-of-the-art sawmill and workshop in the North East of England. Even on close inspection, engineered oak flooring looks almost identical to solid oak flooring. However it has a number of advantages, particularly when it is installed in areas with high temperature and humidity changes such as kitchens or conservatories, and is perfectly suitable for areas with underfloor heating.
It is constructed by glueing several layers of birch plywood together before being finished with a top layer of quality graded Ukrainian grown oak. The engineered method allows for the manufacture of different sizes and thicknesses of planks, which in turn adds dimensional strength and stability to any floor in any room.
